Transfers were this week, and I am still here in Anderson, Missouri. My new companion is Sister Bingham. She's from Utah and she's really sweet! And we are about th same height so that's a plus!
On Saturday we were knocking on doors and telling people about family history. Nobody was very interested in hearing about it until we got to this one house. This younger guy answered but did NOT seem like he would be interested in researching his ancestors. But we asked him anyways and he said "yeah sure, let me go put a shirt on and then you can tell me about it." We ended up talking to his wife, Angela, who had apparently tried to get on ancestry.com before with no luck. She was so excited because she didn't really know her birth father and wanted her two little daughters to be able to know where they came from. We got to tell her about eternal families and now we're meeting them on Saturday again to help then do some family history!
