#matching outfits at zone conference!

volunteering at the emergency preparedness fair. it was a million degrees

This week, we had a golden investigator fall into our lap! We got a call on Monday night from our bishop, telling us that a girl from Minnesota who was investigating the church had moved into our area. We called her the next day and went to visit her. Her name is Kre and her and her family are refugees from Burma. Kre met the missionaries in Washington. She already knows the church is true, but she isn't allowed to get baptized until she turns 18 in December. We love her already! She had been working on her Young Women personal progress and just finished cross stitching a picture of Joseph Smith for one of her projects. Kre and her entire family came to church on Sunday.

On Saturday we got to spend the day volunteering for the Northwest Arkansas Emergency Preparedness Fair. It was really cool. It was sponsored by the church and held at the stake center but it was open to the public. They had all these booths for all these different things pertaining to emergency preparedness like food storage, storm shelters and weather stuff. The opened up the chapel as a quiet place for people to sit down and the family history center was open as well. There were well over 1500 people there.
The missionary work is going great in Anderson and I'm so excited to stay for six more weeks!
Love,

Sister Boll
