The best news ever!!!!

We had zone training meeting this week, and they made the best announcement ever. We now have permission to leave our mission to go to the Oklahoma City or Kansas City temple with recent converts who are doing baptisms! The rule used to be that we could only go with those who were getting their endowments which doesn't happen until at least a year after they are baptized so it was a rare occurance. But President Shumway wrote a letter to the missionary department presidency explaining how it's a strengthening experience for recent converts to get to go to the temple with the missionaries. Apparently 8 out of 10 converts who go to the temple in the first year stay active in the church. Anyways, we are working with a guy named Joe who got baptized in May, and there's a temple trip coming up in a few weeks so we might get to go to the Oklahoma City temple!

That's just about all the news I have this week. Everything is going great in Van Buren, Arkansas.
