Tracting, tracting, and more tracting

This last week has been hard for lessons because of the holidays approaching. Our schedule of set appointments for the next week is looking pretty bleak. But it has given us a lot of opportunities to work on our door approach! Over the last few days, we have developed maps of a few specific areas we want to tract so we can keep track of our progress, and we have a portable dvd player to take with us so we can show videos to the people we meet. It's the first time since I've gotten here that I've really had to do a lot of tracting (since we have so many investigators), and I'm enjoying it, even when people close doors in our faces.

Carlos is making great progress. We set a baptismal date with him for December 14, and the chances of him making that date are actually pretty good! He is basically a golden investigator. We helped him download the Gospel Library to his phone and when we saw him next he said he'd been listening to the Book of Mormon every day. He said that even when he doesn't completely understand what is being talked about, he just feels a warm and comforting feeling that he can't get enough of.

Nothing else too exciting happened this week but things are going great and I'm excited for the Christmas season because everyone is already thinking about Christ. It will be a fun time to be a missionary.
