What a wonderful conference weekend! As a missionary, I have been thinking about conference in the perspective of missionary work because sometimes we take for granted the privilege we have to listen to the words of a prophet. But that is one of the most important things we have to offer to people.
The Saturday morning of conference, I found myself singing the words to the hymn "Lead Kindly Light". "The night is dark, and I am far from home, lead thou me on." Here on Earth, we can feel so distant from our Heavenly Father both physically and spiritually, but as we heed the words of the prophet and his apostles, we can overcome that feeling. While listening to conference, I felt that renewed sense of hope that no matter how hard the trials of life get, and no matter how many mistakes I make, it's still possible to live with our Father in Heaven again. That's the feeling that I want to share with everyone I meet.
I love being a missionary!
Love,
Sister Boll
