We did it! Between the 13 companionships serving in the Springdale stake, we taught 1,046 lessons, breaking the mission record for most lessons taught in a zone. To put things into perspective, the entire mission, consisting of 10 zones, taught 3,169 lessons this week.
It was such a wonderful week, for so many reasons. Not just because we have a big number to brag about, but because we have witnessed so many miracles. Huntsville, which was once generally very against Mormons, is warming up to the missionaries in a very real, measurable way. The elders, just 5 months ago, would knock on every door on a street and have every single one slammed in their face. Now, they can walk down the same street and get 5 new investigators. That's not just an example, it really happened. People are waving to us as they drive by and coming out of their houses to stop us as we walk down the street. It's amazing how real the hastening of the work is in this area.
On Thursday, we were about to go visit Isaiah when a Marshallese woman we had never met before came out of an apartment and chased us down. She said that she had just moved here from the Marshall islands a couple days ago and was the primary secretary of her ward. She was so excited to meet us and kept grabbing our hands and telling us how much she loved us. She then asked us where the church was and said she would bring her whole family on Sunday. We have been praying for a long time that we would find someone who could help us get the Marshallese branch going, and this was definitely an answer to our prayers.
Oh, and Isaiah is going to be baptized this Sunday! We quizzed him on the material we've taught him to make sure he is ready, and he understood everything so well. We asked him about the law of tithing, expecting him to say something like "you give 10% of your money to the bishop" but instead he said, "God gives us everything we have in our life and if we show our obedience by giving some of what we have back to him, he will bless us!" He is just a little spiritual genius. We love him and are so excited to be able to be part of his baptism on Sunday.

We really have seen miracles this week. I love being a missionary!
