So that quote was from our zone leader. I couldn't pass up using it as my subject line this week. He would be so embarrassed if he knew I quoted him, hahaha.
This week was a stressful and hard one, but it was good. I got my first scolding from my district leader yesterday for being really late to report our numbers. It wasn't fun.
We are still meeting with Kandee. She has been praying about whether she should get baptized, and so far hasn't had a huge YES answer but she still feels good about it. We want her to be baptized on October 12, but she will have to quit smoking first so it might not be as soon as we are hoping for. But we are so excited for her. We watched the Restoration movie with her and she asked if she could keep the copy of it to watch again.

On Tuesday, we knocked on one random door in an apartment complex and it turned out that the girl living there had been to church for 3 years with her best friend who was LDS. She stopped going only because her friend moved away but really wants to come to church with us! One problem we have been facing a lot is people who are afraid to come to church because they have had really bad experiences with being judged in the past. Amanda left her last church because the pastor told her that her son was an abomination to God and was cursed because he was born out of wedlock. Crazy, right? It's sad how many people are driven away from church, even our church, because of judgmental people.
Yesterday was an awesome day for church though. We had a TON of less active people come back. It's funny because I haven't had a single investigator come to church yet but seeing less active people come back is just as rewarding. Especially when you can just tell how happy they are. One of our less active guys came to church and I've never seen him smile so much before.
We also visited another less active young man who didn't come to church yesterday. We got the idea to invite him to sing with us in sacrament because he loves to sing and he agreed to it! We think it'll be a great way to get him integrated with the ward again. We practiced singing some primary songs with him yesterday and I could tell he really felt the spirit.
This Saturday we get our calls to find out what will happen for transfers! I can't believe how fast the time has gone. As always, I am loving it here and I love being a missionary.
